Zendesk, Inc. announced yesterday that Amazon Web Services powers the infrastructure behind its new CRM platform, Zendesk Sunshine. Built with the power of the AWS cloud, Zendesk Sunshine allows businesses to connect, interact and understand their customer data wherever it lives. Sunshine also gives developers the ability to build and deploy customer apps and services faster than ever. By incorporating the AWS infrastructure, the security, scalability, and reliability of the cloud is built right into the core of Sunshine. This allows the CRM platform to be more flexible, modern and open than other CRM platforms. By leveraging the power of the AWS Cloud businesses can now quickly and easily move data between Sunshine and their already existing systems and applications.

Here is what Adrian McDermott, President of Products at Zendesk has to say. “Most of our customers are already running their businesses on, or considering a move to, AWS,”

Mike Clayville, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for Amazon Web Services added. “Zendesk’s growing relationship with AWS is fueled by a shared commitment to improve the customer experience. We are happy to support Zendesk as they help businesses leverage the flexibility, agility, and scalability of AWS, making it easy for customers to build application services with their CRM, combine their Zendesk data, and bring machine intelligence to the contact center.”
